On May 16, 2026, the Antwerp-based showroom and creative production company The Suhb collaborated with the Estonian brand Sorcerer to present TOXIC. Organised during the Antwerp Art Weekend, the performance and fashion show was directed by Greta Hilt and performed by dancers from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.

As part of my ongoing collaboration with The Suhb, I created a series of images derived from iPhone photographs and videos captured during the performance. The goal was to explore and generate a visual language that emerges minimal gear resources while remaining visually intricate and interesting. My role was to give notes on camera framing, subject positioning, and footage capture practises.

Drawing from my background in CGI production, I recognised the potential of utilising depth maps for this project. I explored methods to translate the CGI pipeline and image treatment techniques to still, real-life material. This project is a search to build an emotional, human, haptic visual experience starting from technical depth map image translations.

The project resulted in the creation of two similar but distinct series of images. One series focuses on grayscale depth map compositions with statue-like, Renaissance-style poses that emphasise the details, shapes, and print patterns of the garments. The other series focuses on the overall haptic feeling and texture of the image, akin to tapestry or etching , showcasing casual, off-center and in-the-moment movements and compositions.

The artwork series was published in the sixth issue of the New York-based Dash Magazine, titled "Cult."
